PILOT HOUSE
Architect: DSK | Dewing Schmid Kearns

A renovation in Boston's North End honors the past and looks toward the future by tying together buildings constructed in 1838 and 1972 into a continuous home for corporate and non-profit offices. Sustainability goals were ambitious for this project, given the regulations and inherent restrictions of the historical architecture, however, advanced digital lighting controls, live energy use monitoring as well as energy efficient lighting technologies contributed to a LEED Gold certification.
